This Saltbox kitchen in Columbine Valley was redesigned to solve what the original layout couldn’t - function, flow, and a clear sense of purpose. We reworked the footprint to introduce a proper island, created a defined range wall as a focal point, and layered in traditional materials. Blue marble, warm brass, and turned-leg detailing to bring structure and character back into the space. The result is a kitchen that feels organized, intentional, and rooted in classic design, while supporting the way the family lives today. One of the details that ties it all together is the paint color. As recently shared with @marthastewart, Peggy calls @farrowandball Parma Gray her go-to “color-as-a-neutral” for classic kitchens. Its soft blue tone with just a whisper of gray feels calm and timeless, complementing warm woods, brass accents, and crisp white cabinetry without overpowering the space.
