If you’re like me then you probably have some wrapping paper that feels too cute to just use for present wrapping! That’s how I felt about some of the prints I have from @evelynhenson’s collection and after seeing some creative 3D paper stars I decided to try to make my own. If you can cut and fold and pick out wrapping paper you love then you can make these!

I’ve shared everything I used to make them including the star template in case you want to decorate with them too. I have plans to make more to match our decor and even want to figure out a way to make a larger version to use as a tree topper!

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit where my faux greenery garland is from, but I am pleasantly surprised with how it looks! Gearing up for the Super Bowl of table setting, Thanksgiving! Although we won’t be hosting this year I can’t help but enjoy pulling out some of my hosting bests to put together a turkey worthy tablescape using some seasonal favorites. My @thehorsehoecrab monogrammed Essential Dinner Napkins are the star of the show and inspired my color scheme for this table! I opted for the Kiawah font with my initials and their team could not have been better to work with sharing a few different thread color options and how the colors would look together. Wearing a Julia Amory Jane Dress in Twilight in my guest bedroom wallpaper reveal reel. I sized up to a medium in this dress and am glad I did since a small would have fit tight across my bottom! If your figure is a bit more straight then stick to your regular size, but otherwise you’ll want to size up

I opted for the color whisper blue and used about 11 rolls for a standard size room (with two windows and a closet with two doors). I’ve linked the wallpaper and the wallpaper application kit that made installation much smoother (quite literally)!

Home office upgrade ideas: storage! I love these affordable woven baskets in different sizes from Target and have them currently organizing my closet with a few attempting to organize our office closet. I need a few additional ones for it to start feeling more organized, but with a low price point it feels like an accessible investment. We’re always trying to figure out how to organize mail and forms we need to save and this beautiful Amanda Lindroth file box would be perfect for that and is currently 30% off!

The cutest Serena and Lily lookalike lamp for under $60 from Walmart! This lamp comes in multiple colors and two sizes, but I opted for the navy one with the scallop rattan shade to use in our home office. I originally thought I’d use it on our side table, but I love it even more on our desk! I’ve linked two retailers that currently have it in stock in a variety of colors!

Our primary bedroom is coming together and I’m excited to share it with y’all today along with some of the other ideas we have for the space! Most of the furniture we already had or were able to get for a deal on Facebook marketplace making it easy to update with new pillows, rugs, and lamps and my favorite Amazon curtains upgraded with tape trim and heat n bond. I’d love to change up the art, but overall love the way our pillows combine more masculine colors on a floral print and am so happy with this rug purchase to add warmth and make the space feel grounded! What room do y’all want me to share next?

A laundry hamper that’s not an eye sore and worth keeping out in your bedroom! This one is from Amazon and I love the coloring and woven finish of it.

If you’re looking for affordable pinch pleat drapes that look custom I love this Amazon pair that I added tape trim to with iron on hem adhesive. You’ll definitely need more adhesive than you think but the ones in our bedroom turned out beautifully and have a custom feel without the price tag. Ours are the natural color and we hung them with the linked rings (the curtains come with hooks) and a French return rod also from Amazon! Truly can’t recommend them enough and am eager to work on another pair for our guest bedroom too.

The rug shown is Ballard’s Dori Sisal and is soft enough underfoot for a bedroom. Ballard also has sales, so be sure you don’t pay full price for it. I love the way the texture add depths and warmth to the space!

I finally convinced myself to order Ballard’s Dori Sisal Rug for our bedroom while it was on sale (it’s still on sale!!) and love the way it adds warmth to the space. The room needed some separation from the brown furniture on a similarly stained brown floor and this did the trick! Our room is square so we got the biggest size that would fit, 8x10, and it fills the space well. I love the design on the rug and the sisal is definitely softer than most! If you’ve been considering it we’re loving it so far!

Finally getting around to sharing photos from our end of October Wedding Weekend! We started the festivities with the most beautiful bridesmaid’s luncheon with family and bridesmaids thanks to such gracious hostesses. Fun fact, the house where this was hosted is the same house where Hunter & I got engaged adding to all the fun memories here with friends that feel more like family!

I really struggled with what I wanted to wear for this and landed on the most perfect white dress with blue bows by @janesummersnewyork! They offer a variety of silhouettes that fit a number of bridal occasions and this style (James Strapless White Tea Length Mermaid Style with Light Blue Ribbons) was exactly what I had hoped for. I even decided to put on my wedding shoes a day early thanks to how perfectly they matched the ties!

As soon as we got our wedding photo gallery back I knew I needed some hanging frames for them and wanted a custom look without a hefty price tag. I found this set of 4 11x14 frames matted for 8x10 photos and gave them a try! The frame set comes with a standard mat with an ivory and a white side, but to give them more of a custom feel I found a bevel cut ivory mat to replace the plain one. It easily elevated the look and now we have wedding photos hanging to fill our otherwise empty hallway from our living room to our kitchen. The frames I used just came back in stock in gold, and I’ve linked the items shown in this reel below!

Spring is speeding by and with a busy few months approaching I'm excited to have the opportunity to pull some favorite items out of my closet for events we have.
