We had the best time exploring somewhere new this 4th of July! Anna Maria Island was packed, so we decided to check out Longboat Key’s beach for the first time and quickly realized we found a hidden gem. From playing mermaids, building sand castles, chasing birds (Bill, of course 😂), and making new hermit crab friends, it was the kind of day that made the best memories.

We ended the day with dinner right on the beach at one of our favorite local spots, @thebeachhouseami , and were so excited to still catch fireworks despite the nearby sea turtle nests! (Whoopsie!) ✨

After Lyla went to spend some time with her grandparents, Nanny Em and I got to bee bop around downtown Nashville for a little 21+ CMA Fest fun.

✔️ Stopped by HARDY’s McArthur pop-up at Morgan Wallen’s
✔️ Lunch at Hampton Social because festival fuel is essential
✔️ Wandered through the CMA Fest Fan Fair X
✔️ Headed back to Morgan Wallen’s for live music
✔️ Closed out the night at Nissan Stadium where Bailey Zimmerman and Fetty Wap transported us straight back a decade 😂🎤

Needless to say.. my voice is still recovering, my feet were begging for mercy, and I’d do it all over again. CMA Fest, you never disappoint 🤍🎶

My girl never stops moving.. even in her sleep 😅

And I swear, the wrong pajamas can make bedtime so much harder. If it’s itchy, tight, or sticks when she gets warm, we’re both up.
