Your home doesn’t need to be ready for a listing photo — it needs to be ready for YOU. The dark walls, the thrifted oil paintings of nature or someone’s ancestors, the lamp that doesn’t “go.” That’s the stuff. Decorate for the woman who lives there. (And yes, most of my favorite things are secondhand, Etsy/small shops, or from At Home and Walmart.
