🌿 Why I swapped my basics for non-toxic options… and why it feels so much better.
These are just the basics I consistently wear. I started with underwear, bras, and activewear, then slowly began finding more clean options that are actually cute!

It’s not about being 100% non-toxic or perfect — it’s about making better choices moving forward. I used to ignore the fact that conventional clothes are often packed with hidden chemicals (PFAS, harsh dyes, formaldehyde) that sit against our skin all day. When looking for my everyday pieces I check to see if it’s GOTS-certified organic, low-impact, and free from the worst offenders. My skin feels happier, the quality lasts longer, and I know it’s better for me in the long run.

These are the ones I actually reach for every day in our home👇🏻 🪵 Wooden Food Storage Containers: Swapped plastic containers for natural wood. No microplastics leaching into food, beautiful on the counter, and better for the planet. 👩🏻‍🍳 Stainless Steel & French Porcelain Pans: Replaced traditional/non-stick bakeware that can release forever chemicals. These ones offers even heating, no coatings, and will last for years. ☕ Stainless Steel French Press: Moved away from plastic-heavy coffee makers AND pods! All stainless for clean, pure coffee without any plastic taste or chemicals. 🫖 Glass Teapot with Stainless Steel Filter: Swapped plastic or lower-quality kettles. Glass + stainless strainer, ideal for loose-leaf teas and my wellness rituals. 🍳 Cast Iron Pan: The hero piece! Replaced non-stick pans that wear out and leach. This pre-seasoned, smooth-surface cast iron is heirloom quality — gets better with use and is completely non-toxic. These small swaps have made cooking feel safer and more joyful for our family.
