HIGH PROTEIN SNACKS GLP-1 FRIENDLY

1️⃣First up are the only bean roasted edamame beans. I love that these are individually packaged, have 11 grams of protein and only 100 calories and come in sea salt, buffalo, sriracha, and ranch. The are also, keto friendly, gluten free, and vegan! @the_onlybean

2️⃣The prime bite blueberry muffins have 15 grams of protein and 5 grams of collagen and so good to pack on the go. @alphaprimebites

3️⃣If you need a sweet treat these prime bites brownies come in a ton of flavors like cinnamon roll and chocolate glazed donut. They have 19 grams of protein and are great warmed up with a scoop of sugar free cool whip or ice cream. @alphaprimebites

4️⃣These quest chips are perfect for eating on their own OR making protein nachos with them! They have between 18-20 grams of protein and are so crunchy and have great flavor!

🚶🏾‍♀️BENEFITS TO WALKING WITH A WEIGHTED VEST🚶🏾‍♀️I’ve been walking with a weighted vest for the past month and these are some of the improvements I’ve seen⬇️

1️⃣Better Posture- The weight of the vest forces you to walk more upright and in a neutral spine position, giving you much better posture. I tend to hunch my shoulders forward, and so this has been really help correct my posture.

2️⃣Increased Calorie Burn- I burn more calories while walking with a weighted vest, which has in turn helped accelerate my weight loss. I wear a 20 pound vest, but I’m thinking about increasing it to 30 pounds next month. (The recommendation is 5-20% of your body weight)

3️⃣Increased Core Strength- My core is getting so much stronger now that I’m wearing my weighted vest. Since it works to stabilize my body naturally while wearing the vest walking, I notice when I’m completing other tasks where my core would need to activate it just does. From lifting items like laundry baskets, walking up stairs, carrying groceries inside the house, my body just feels like its moving around easier than before.

🚶🏾‍♀️I’m wearing a vest thats available in 8-30 pounds, and I’m wearing the 20 pound vest.

These are some of my recommendations if you’re just now starting your GLP1 journey.

Hair Health: I haven’t experience that much hair shedding, but I’ve been taking Nutrafol & Mary Ruth’s for a little over two years now. It’s a bit pricey but very worth it.

Weighted Vest: I use my vest almost daily when taking my dog Luca for a walk, and it helps with burning calories faster, strengthening my core and helps with posture. I would recommend starting with 15 pounds.

Strength Training: they say that you lose muscle while on the medication so it’s very important to do a couple of strength training exercises daily.

Walking Pad: I highly recommend getting a walking pad. It makes it so much easier to get your walk-in daily, especially if you’re very busy. It’s nice to have at home.

Fitness tracker: a great way to set goals for yourself. Your journey is your own. Set realistic goals for YOUR body and increase them as you go. When I first started my journey I set a goal of 15 min walks to start out. You can set a time , distance or step goal.

Hydration: I’ll admit it’s difficult to get in your daily water intake, but having a Brumate definitely makes it easier. My water stays cool all day and it doesn’t leak.
I’m a big fan of the White Peach sugar free Liquid IV.

These are some of my recommendations if you’re just now starting your GLP1 journey.
