✨O U T S I D E R✨ After watching a documentary about Patrick Swayze, I was reminded he was in The Outsiders along with all my other favorite actors when I was growing up. How did so much talent end up in one movie?! ———————- This big-shoulder tee is giving me total Outsider vibes, and a white tee and jeans is a cool-girl look...even when you’re an outsider. 😉 Can anyone else relate to being an outsider? As basic and mainstream as I sometimes am, I find myself feeling like an outsider on a regular basis. ———————- As a kid, it was not having enough money and wearing my friends hand-me-downs. I remember one time a friend wasn’t allowed to come to my house because my parents were divorced. As an adult, I still struggle with feeling like I don’t belong. My views on politics, religion, and money never seem to fit the norm, so I constantly struggle to to find equilibrium. ———————- It’s so much easier when you’re the same as everyone else, but, where’s the fun in that? Our differences are what make us who we are. If you’re an outsider, embrace it. It means you get to view others from a distance and that gives you so much perspective about what is important.
