Growing up in the Philippines, I was raised to treat food with deep respect—every grain of rice is sacred. So when I see chefs tossing ingredients around carelessly or cussing about the food they’re preparing, it takes away from the experience for me. I know it’s part of their style, but it just doesn’t resonate with how I was brought up… and I usually stop watching. It just turns me off. Video is of me plating a cauliflower rice!
