And to make it easier on your budget, look at what is on sale that week. Look around in your fridge or your pantry. See what you already have.
That way you know exactly what to shop for and what to prep ahead and what to prepare.
Less stress, more joy, and plenty of time to savor the season. Have you planned your menu yet?

Homemade Frosted Cranberries for my charcuterie:
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh cranberries - 1 pack of 16 oz.

1 cup sugar, divided into 2

1 cup water

Instructions
1. Make Simple Syrup by heating 1 cup water + ½ cup sugar(you can substitute with maple syrup) until dissolved.
Remove from heat.

2. Coat Cranberries - by stirring cranberries into warm syrup.
Let sit for 5–10 minutes.
Transfer to a rack or parchment paper and dry for about 45–60 min.

3. Add the Sparkle - that means rolling the cranberries in ½ cup sugar. Roll 2x for extra sparkle, even adding powdered sugar to the mix.
Spread to dry for another 30 minutes.

Enjoy these vibrant red and festive cranberries.

As a realtor-photographer, I know sunset is the best time to photograph homes because the soft, golden lights adds warmth and reduces harsh shadows and therefore beautifully highlights the property’s features - turning every shot into a glow-up.

Growing up in the Philippines, I was raised to treat food with deep respect—every grain of rice is sacred.
So when I see chefs tossing ingredients around carelessly or cussing about the food they’re preparing, it takes away from the experience for me.
I know it’s part of their style, but it just doesn’t resonate with how I was brought up… and I usually stop watching. It just turns me off.
