Come with me for a very special day in London 🤍 First stop is Cartier. I have inherited my mom’s Cartier watch she got from my dad on their wedding day 43 years ago. It works, but desperately needed a service and a new strap. And today I get to pick it up. The people at Cartier has absolutely blown me away with the service and care they have put in. Not only does the watch almost look like new, they even engraved the inside of the strap with my mom’s name - Lena. It brought tears to my eyes in the shop. Some brands truly care, it doesn’t matter how long ago they sold it, they understand all the layers of value a piece like this embodies. Wearing my “new” watch I head to the Connaught hotel and a lovely lunch by Pomelle. My friend Malin owns the brand and I don’t know anyone who throws a better event. The food, the venue, the people and of course the cocktails. Pomelle is a Pomello and elderflower digestif. I drink it in a spritz instead of aperol, in a sour instead of amaretto or even just in a very small amount with side water if I want a really low alcohol version. This was such a lovely day. And I felt like my navy silk set was the perfect outfit as it’s comfortable enough to run around on time in, but also elegant for a lunch like this. 🤍You can find the items I’m wearing in my link in bio, or just comment “link” and I will DM the links to you 🤍 tessmontgomery cartierwatch youcanspritzwithus LTKSummerEdit LTKWorkwear LTKStyleTip
