BUT, a lot of women struggle with getting their blush and bronzer, and even highlighter to look right on mature skin!

The biggest mistake I see women make when applying cream products is that they apply them directly to their skin straight from the tube! This makes them super hard to blend.

Here are my 2 top tips to getting your cream makeup over 40 to look fabulous!!!

1️⃣ ALWAYS PREP YOUR SKIN

Use a moisturizer, prime and eye cream before makeup!

2️⃣ ALWAYS apply liquid and cream products to the back of your hand or your wrist first to warm up the product and make it easier to blend!

If you are struggling with makeup over 40, this blush hack is a gamer changer!

If you are a woman over 40 with dry and mature skin, cream blush is your best friend! It melts into our skin going you a lovely natural flush and is so flattering.

Powder blush can sit on top of your skin and can make emphasize dry skin and make it look flat!

My top tip for applying blush is to remember what I call the 3 finger rule!
Place 3 fingers next to your nose and do not apply any blush there.

Apply blush in an upward motion and blend out! Do you see how it visually lifts your entire face? Such an easy tip!

Before I get started, I want to clarify….do Instill use eyeliner pencils? Yes, I do. It depends on my mood and the look I am going for !

BUT…..if you are a woman over 40
who struggles to get her eyeliner to look right, I encourage you to try this technique.

Here’s how & why👇👇👇

❌Most pencils are wax based. What happens to wax when it gets warm? It melts! Raccoon eyes for days!

✅If you are constantly dealing with smudged eyeliner try a gel based liner like this one instead!

❌ Stop pulling at your eyes. If you have tugged at your eye to apply a pencil then you know it is really hard to get it to look right! It is too thick, uneven…it’s a struggle!

✅ Instead use a brush like this to stamp the gel liner onto your lash line while your eyes are at rest in their natural state! Start at the outer corner and work@your way in!

✨This will create the illusion of a thicker and fuller lashline instead of looking like you are wearing eyeliner. Add mascara for maximum impact!

Here are 3 tips to make our eyes POP that will take you under a minute and have a big impact! ⤵️⤵️⤵️

Always start with primer to even out your eyelids and erase redness. I have linked my favorite for you ❤️

⭐️ Line your lash line with black gel liner.
Make sure to keep it thin.

⭐️ Apply lots of mascara from base to
lash line

⭐️ Add a pop of shimmer just to the
middle of your eyeball with your
finger. Done!
