Sometimes painting furniture is OKAY… especially when it turns out looking this good 😩🤩 I walked into Goodwill with a $25 budget and somehow landed the perfect storage cabinet for exactly $25 💸 It wasn’t solid wood, but it was sturdy, well-built, and had tons of potential 🛠️ For the body, drawers, and doors, I saved some money by using leftover paint from my guest room flip. This gorgeous color—Courtyard Blue by Behr—is such a timeless, multifunctional shade 🦋 To add texture and variation, I used a faux wood grain technique on the top and base to tie everything together 🪵 Finishing the hardware with a quick coat of gold gilding wax was the icing on the cake 🍰 This cabinet feels like a breath of fresh air—even with a fresh coat of paint 🎨 And yes… it sold immediately after finishing for close to $300. Pieces like this fly in my area 📍 What do you think of the paint + faux wood combo?
