Easy rental upgrade: under-cabinet lighting. Good lighting makes such a difference in your day-to-day life- especially in a busy work zone like the kitchen. These require no drilling or hard-wiring and go up in a matter of seconds. My favorite feature is the motion detection so it saves battery if I forget to turn them off.

Finally found some beautiful curtains for this big window in our den. It’s very private outback so I debated just leaving this window without a treatment, but that harsh winter light makes watching tv during the day in here pretty tough. Found these on Etsy and they are super cute and add a splash of color and pattern to this room 😍

First room in the house that’s fully done and clean- the dining room!
Our table traveled with us from our other house but we got new chairs and buffet for this space and I’m loving them 🤍🤍🤍
We’re almost ready to have you over for a latte but like I said, this is the first room done- the rest of the house is still a mess 😂 getting there little by little!

For my cheetah-loving little girl and her sweet sister.

Logan and Norah decided on an inspiration pic for their new room that ended up being my driving force in creating their fresh, pink, cozy place to lay their heads each night. It was important to me to finish the girls’ spaces first when we moved so they would feel comforted and excited to be in a new house when they’ve only ever known our first home.
Riley’s has taken a bit longer to button-up but we are loving this shared bunk space for our littlest girls.

When the sofa makes the whole room 😍😍😍

This room isn’t technically “done.” I still don’t know what to do with the window or if I’ll be adding any shades/curtains to it. But we love this space and that wood-burning fireplace is probably our favorite part about the whole house. We’ve always wanted one but haven’t had one since we were kids. It’s the ultimate cozy movie-watching room.

Every year I get the girls some new pieces from @mailegusa for their mouse house. I consider these heirloom items that we’ll keep forever (picture grandkids playing with these).
