Sharing my age has never once bothered me, and frankly I’ve never understood when, mostly women in particular, choose to lie about their age. But if I’m being honest, 36 just hits a little different. I’m no longer “closer to 30 than 40” and can’t say “early 30s” anymore. But that’s okay. Even though it’s a little more difficult pill to swallow, your 30s really are better than your 20s, and I would actually bet that my 40s will be better than my 30s. This coming year is set to be a pretty monumental one (for obvious reasons) and I can’t wait to see what my 36th trip around the sun will bring. Bring it on, 36.
