A moment for Leslie, the crown jewel of the laundry room. If you’ve been here for a minute you know that lighting is one of my favorite elements when it comes to designing spaces. Just like hardware is jewelry for the room, I think of lighting as artwork for the ceiling. This particular light, the Leslie Flushmount from @lighting_design_company has been on my bingo card for years. I had originally planned to put it in my dressing room four years ago. Last year I almost ordered it for my home office. But this year, when I started designing the laundry room I just knew this was the space for this light. I’ve always thought it looked a little bit like a crown, and with how romantic the laundry room design is, I think it’s absolutely perfect.
