The magnolia blossoms are blooming outside my living room window and there’s flour on my sweater again. The better afternoons look like this. Sourdough rising on the counter, seedlings on the windowsill, coffee going cold because I got distracted with the kids.. As the years pass the desire for a more analog life grows.. The garden grows bigger, the bread gets better, and somewhere along the way I stopped buying what I could make.
