If you haven't heard of this tradition let me quickly explain. You purchase a book about growing in life (oh the places you go is the most common but I find that book beyond boring l) when your child is a kindergartener and gift it to them when they graduate high school. Every year you give the book to your child's teacher and ask them to sign it. It sounds extra, but it is actually one of the easiest traditions I do. I printed off a note with directions and put it in the book and then put it all in an envelope. The teachers have left the note in the book and kept the envelope so all I have had to do I remember to give it to each teacher. The key though is to send the book late April because teachers are crazy BUSY in May so if you want a heartfelt note vs a rushed note send it in before the pile of books is 22 books high.
