Travel Capsule Wardrobe Rule: If an item can’t be worn in at least 2–3 outfit combinations, it usually doesn’t come on the trip. Instead of planning individual outfits, I pack pieces that work together. In my capsules, every top works with every bottom, and every item will be worn at least twice on my trip. That’s the goal of a good travel capsule: More combinations without packing more pieces. Of course, exceptions are made for extra hot and sweaty trips when laundry isn’t available …but the “wear at least twice on the trip” is a rule I try to adhere to most of the time. LTKOver40 LTKTravel
