Some pieces just make getting dressed easy. A black t-shirt dress is one of them. It's comfortable enough to wear all day. Easy to style in a dozen different ways (keeping with one of my travel capsule rules). Sneakers during the day, a dressier shoe for evening — same dress, completely different look. Layer anything over it…it works! And it's so basic that nobody notices the re-wears. That's exactly why it belongs in a travel capsule.
