One of the most effective travel capsule wardrobe strategies: Wear the same outfit all day, then make strategic swaps for dinner. A great travel outfit should be able to handle sightseeing, lunch, museums, and then transition into the evening with a few thoughtful changes. Instead of packing separate outfits for every occasion, I start with a strong base and make small adjustments for dinner: • Add a layer • Swap accessories • Change shoes • Elevate the bag The goal is to choose versatile pieces that are easy to dress up or down. With a few simple swaps, one outfit can take you from daytime activities to dinner without needing a complete outfit change. This is one of the strategies that has allowed me to pack light and bring fewer items. (Of course, there are exceptions. But this is how I plan most outfits in my travel capsule wardrobes.)
