This little stretch of fall-perfect weather has me in that very specific October mood where I suddenly want to get outside more, reset the house, and get ahead of everything before November starts moving at full speed.

So for the last day of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, I’m not shopping just because something is on sale. I’m looking at what actually fits the season we’re in right now: fall family fun, home organization, kids activities, everyday family essentials, and a little wellness before holiday prep really kicks in.

Basically, October me is trying to do November me a favor.

The final day of Prime Big Deal Days is here, so if something caught your eye, grab it while the deals are still live.

#AmazonPrimeDeals #PrimeBigDealDays #AmazonFinds #FallFamilyFun #MomFinds

I know there will come a day when they don’t automatically reach for my hand anymore.

So for now, I’m taking the hand-holding, the little voices, the slow walks, and all the ordinary moments I know I’ll miss one day.

These are the years I want to remember exactly as they are.

What’s one little thing your kids do right now that you never want to forget?

#Motherhood #MomLife #MillennialMom #MotherhoodMoments #RaisingKids

Packing snacks for a day out with two kids is basically me trying to predict every possible version of “I’m hungry” before it happens.

Today’s bag had MadeGood granola bites, Black Forest fruit snacks, mandarin oranges, string cheese, GoGo squeeZ yogurt, GoGo squeeZ fruit gel and Brainiac fruit + oat smoothies.

Some days they eat everything. Some days I apparently packed a traveling pantry for no reason.

If you had to guess, how many of these snacks do you think they actually ate today?

Around here, we’re keeping family days fun, snacks packed and expectations realistic.

#MomLife #KidsSnacks #SnackBag #MillennialMom #Motherhood

My guess? 5 of the 7. Enough to justify packing the bag, but definitely not enough to come home empty.

Right now, Spider-Man is basically a full personality trait over here.

I love getting to watch the things he’s into become his whole little world for a season. The costumes, the characters, the way his face changes when he spots something he loves…childhood joy really is that simple sometimes.

So naturally, walking into @primark at @shopfloridamall and seeing Spider-Man everywhere was a very serious situation.

Moms, what is your kid completely obsessed with right now?

#Motherhood #BoyMom #MomLife #ChildhoodMagic #MillennialMom

Motherhood got a little lighter when I stopped believing that harder automatically meant better.

I can love my babies deeply and still use the things that make mom life easier. I can protect time for my marriage. I can leave room on the family calendar. I can serve the easy lunch. And I can appreciate an ordinary Tuesday without feeling like I need to turn it into more.

Because intentional motherhood isn’t about doing everything. Sometimes it’s choosing what matters, using the shortcut, and being present enough to enjoy the season you’re actually in.

Mom to mom, what’s something you’ve stopped making harder than it needs to be?

Marriage is really just finding someone who will participate in your nonsense even after they realize something ain’t right. 😂

Every answer? Correct.
Confidence? Increasing by the question.
Me keeping a straight face? Barely.

And my confident king DEFINITELY caught on halfway through. The looks he started giving me took me OUT. 😂 But he kept answering anyway, and, that might be one of my favorite things about us.

We can turn the most random moment in our kitchen into something that has us cracking up. The older we get, the more I appreciate that part of marriage, the friendship, the inside jokes, the foolishness and having somebody you genuinely LIKE doing life with.

Life gives us enough serious moments. I want to laugh with my man.

How many questions about YOU would your spouse actually get right? 👀😂

If marriage, motherhood, family adventures and finding reasons to laugh somewhere in the middle of all of it sounds like your kind of life… you’ll fit right in over here.

And because I’m proud of another no leggings look, for the fit…

#sheinpartner Five is looking a whole lot like confidence around here. 🥹

This age has been so fun to watch unfold because the PERSONality?! Whew. 😂 She knows what she likes, knows what she doesn’t, has an opinion ready at all times and somehow manages to be equal parts sweet, spicy and hilarious.

She’s thoughtful. She’s curious. She loves HARD. She’s the first to notice when someone needs a hug, but also the first to let you know when something simply is not working for her. 😂

And lately, I’ve been noticing more of those little glimpses of the girl she’s becoming. The confidence. The independence. The way she puts something on, adds her own little sauce and suddenly has somewhere very important to be.

Five is such a funny in-between. Still my baby, but becoming more and more HER every single day.

And I think that might be my favorite part of this era.

The travel hack that officially retired our airport stroller.

We originally bought these ride-on suitcases hoping they would make traveling with two young kids a little easier, specifically for when I travel alone with them and now we refuse to fly without them.

The kids can push their own luggage when they’re feeling independent, then sit down and ride when those little legs get tired. That means fewer “carry me” requests, less chasing through the airport, and one less bulky stroller for us to drag through security and worry about at the gate.

We loved them so much that we reordered them from Walmart because, at this point, they are part of the family travel crew. Watching MJ and SJ roll through the airport with their own suitcases might be cute, but the real win is how much easier they make travel days for us.

Parents traveling with young kids: the goal is not to pack lighter, it’s to pack smarter.

Would you replace your airport stroller with ride-on luggage?

#ad | Can we normalize celebrating the little wins as moms?

Because some days, I’m just trying to make it through the day without forgetting something.

I’ve realized I don’t need to have it all together, I just need a few routines that make life a little easier. And one of those is our daily @vitalpalskids Superfood Gummies.

The funniest part? My kids actually ask for them. I don’t have to chase them around the house or convince them to take them, they’re already reminding me. If you’re a mom, you know that’s a win.

We love that they have:
* 100% of daily value of 10 vitamins and minerals
* Superfood blend derived from 16 fruits and veggies
* Immune system support
* Excellent source of vitamins and minerals
* Supplements nutrition to fill gaps in the diet

I’m all about finding the little things that make motherhood feel just a little less chaotic, and this has definitely become one of them.

This is your sign to try them in your household.

Road to 40 continues…The welcome bags are officially secured… but here’s the mistake I see people make.

When you’re planning a group trip, it’s tempting to fill welcome bags with a bunch of random goodies. Instead, think about items people will actually use during the trip. Practical almost always beats Pinterest-worthy.

My goal is for everyone to open their bag and immediately reach for something they’ll use before the weekend is over.

Now I need your help…

If you were heading to an all-inclusive resort for a 40th birthday celebration, what’s ONE thing you’d be excited to find in your welcome bag?

I’m taking notes because I want these bags to be thoughtful, useful, and memorable.

#SHEINpartner | Some of my favorite parenting moments are the ones I never planned.

We were supposed to grab a quick family picture before starting our day… but somewhere along the way, MJ and SJ decided this was their runway.

I love watching them grow into themselves. The confidence. The little poses. The excitement. They weren’t trying to impress anyone, they were simply having fun, and that’s exactly the kind of confidence I hope they carry for the rest of their lives.

Sometimes the “perfect” family photo isn’t the one where everyone is looking at the camera. It’s the one that captures exactly who they are in this season.

Not every adventure starts at the airport… sometimes it starts with saying yes.

We’ve been dreaming about this trip for a long time, and it’s finally here.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing the real side of traveling across Europe with my two littles, from hidden gems and family moments to travel hacks, local finds, and everything in between.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to travel with kids for an extended trip, I hope this series gives you the inspiration (and confidence) to plan your own adventure.

Follow along…I have a feeling this is going to be one we’ll never forget.

Which country are you most excited to see first: England 🇬🇧, Italy 🇮🇹, or Bulgaria 🇧🇬?

Somewhere along the way, we convinced ourselves we were too old for moments like this…

It had been raining for a while, so we waited it out.

I sat there listening to one of my favorite sounds and then I thought…

Why are we waiting?

So we ran out into it.

We danced. We laughed. We got completely soaked. My daughter joined me without a second thought. My son was living his best little life. Hubs… well, let’s just say he participated in his own way. 😂

One of my favorite gifts motherhood has given me is permission to be a kid again.

Because somewhere between responsibilities, schedules, and growing up, it’s easy to forget that joy can be simple.

I’m in my 30s now. My knees might remind me of that every morning… but my spirit still gets excited when it rains.

And if one day my kids remember me as the mom who danced in the rain instead of worrying about getting wet…

I’d call that a life well lived.

What’s something “child-like” you’ll never outgrow?

Today’s agenda: matching outfits & making memories.

One thing about us… if we’re heading out on a family adventure, the kids are going to be dressed for the occasion. Comfortable enough to explore, cute enough for the pictures, and ready for whatever the day brings.

We checked out SEA LIFE Orlando’s Summer of Sharks, and let’s just say… the kids had the BEST time. I can’t wait to show you our recap.

But first… we had to give these outfits their own moment.

AD | Hubs wants to celebrate his 40th birthday somewhere with sunshine, a beach, and absolutely no responsibilities… which means I’ve officially entered my “vacation outfit planning” era.

Finding swimsuits is always the hardest part because I want pieces that can do both. I want something I feel confident wearing while chasing my kids around the pool, but that still feels cute enough for a beach day or a couples getaway when it’s just hubs and I.

These are a few of the swimsuits that made the cut. Bright colors and styles that feel flattering without breaking the budget. Now the only problem is deciding which ones are actually making it into my suitcase.

Okay, help me out… which one are you packing first? Neon yellow, green, orange cutout, orange multi or pink? I need honest opinions because I can’t decide!

AD | Some days I look at her and wonder where the time went.

It feels like yesterday I was dreaming about the little girl I’d one day get to raise. Now she’s twirling in dresses she picked out herself, full of opinions, confidence, curiosity, and the sweetest little personality.

If I could freeze one season forever, it might just be this one. The giggles, the imagination, the hand-holding, and the way she still looks back to make sure I’m watching.

Growing up is such a beautiful gift… but I wish it didn’t happen quite so fast.

AD | Last Sunday after church, the kids begged to play in the grass in what feels like 100 degree weather to do what kids do best… they ran, laughed, chased each other, and turned a few ordinary minutes into one of my favorite memories from the day.

It’s funny how the moments we don’t plan for are usually the ones that end up meaning the most.

One day they’ll outgrow these little outfits, these tiny laughs, and these carefree afternoons. Until then, I’ll keep taking the pictures, recording the videos, and soaking up every second.

#ad Growing up, I remember thinking 70 sounded… old.

Now I watch my mom, and I realize I couldn’t have been more wrong.

At 70, she’s retired, traveling the world, saying yes to new adventures, and somehow always has the outfit, the earrings, the shoes, and the bag perfectly matched. She doesn’t get dressed because she has somewhere important to be, she gets dressed because it makes her feel like herself.

One of my favorite things about her is that she never stopped expressing who she is through her style. She’s proof that confidence doesn’t come with an expiration date, and neither does fashion.

I hope when I’m 70, I’m still saying yes to the trip, wearing the dress, and living life just as fully.

She styled these looks from SOLERSUN on SHEIN, and I honestly think she wore every single one beautifully.

There’s something about finding an outfit that makes you feel confident before heading out for a day of adventures (and yes, I know it’s summer)

We spent the day exploring Terra Verde Farm, and I wanted something that was comfortable enough to walk around in but still made me feel put together. This outfit was exactly that. Comfortable, effortless, and easy to wear while chasing memories instead of worrying about what I had on.

Now I need your opinion… would you wear this to a farm? Be honest and rate the outfit from 1–10 in the comments.

AD | Hubs has called her “Micah Jr.” for years, and I used to laugh it off. But lately, I’m realizing he may have been right.

Her first week of summer camp, every single piece of artwork she brought home was signed “Mom and Mila.” Not just Mila. Mom and Mila.

She sees us as a team. A pair. Two little words on a piece of paper that I’ll probably keep forever.

So yes, we’ll wear the matching dresses. We’ll take the pictures. We’ll say yes to the twirls, the cuddles, and every “same dress, Mommy” request.

Because one day she won’t ask to match me anymore. And I already know I’ll miss these little moments.

Thank you to @ivycityco for the beautiful dresses that became part of this memory with my little Micah Jr.

AD | Summer with my kids basically means we live outside and having KinderFarms packed in the bag has become one of my favorite easy mom hacks for keeping up with them.

Between playground days, pool time, park stops, and nonstop running around, I’m always looking for ways to help keep them hydrated while they’re out having fun.

That’s why we keep bringing KinderFarms electrolytes with us on the go:
💦 Hydrates 2x faster
🛡️ Includes immune support
🍓 75% less sugar
🤍 Free from unnecessary additives

Definitely one of those products that’s earned a permanent spot in our summer bag.

If your kids are outside nonstop this summer too, definitely add KinderFarms to your on-the-go essentials

I’m SUCH a leggings girl, but lately I’ve been trying to flex outside of them a little more. As a mom constantly on the go, I need outfits that can survive errands, chasing kids, snack stops, random dance breaks, and Florida heat without making me feel like I’m overheating by noon.

How did I do? And why am I lowkey obsessed with this one? The airflow alone deserves a reward.

I still feel like such a basic dresser sometimes, but maybe that’s okay? Maybe cute, comfortable, and easy IS the vibe in this season of life.

There’s something about trying new things that actually make mom life a little easier (and a little cuter too)

Grateful for these thoughtful gifts and brands that really understood the assignment.

The custom necklace from Portugal Jewels might be my favorite… having my babies’ initials with me every day just hits different.

The Skylight Calendar 2 has been keeping our whole life together because if it’s not written down… it’s not happening.

I plan to reach for the Nutrops by Grüns gummies on those days I need a little extra focus and energy (because mom brain is REAL).

Snack time has been handled with the Hapinest fruit & veggie snacks, something the kids love and I feel good about giving.

Lucent Globe sent over their laundry detergent sheets, dishwashing sheets, and toilet cleaning sheets and let’s just say… less mess, less clutter, just easy.

And these Comotomo snack storage glasses?? Yesssss for keeping snacks prepped and ready when the chaos hits.

So thankful for these brands for pouring into our family like this.

You’ve been showing up for everyone, handling everything, and carrying more than you probably even said out loud.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that… you forgot to pause.

This is your reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to control everything. You don’t even have to keep pushing right now.

You can trust God in this season.
You can be still for a moment.
You can breathe… and just be where you are.

Even the small, quiet moments matter, the ones that don’t look big to anyone else, but feel like everything to you.

This drop shoulder button-up has me in a chokehold. It’s one of those pieces you can throw on with pants like this, dress up a bit more, or even use as a swim cover-up. Effortless, versatile, and exactly what I’ve been needing in this season. I already know I need it in every color.

We’ve been easing into pool season with a little summer prep, getting in the water 1–2 times a week to brush up on their swimming skills and rebuild confidence early. It makes such a difference going into those full summer days when we’re constantly at the pool or water parks.

Shrunk. Stretched. Big. Defined. Braided. Twisted. All of it.

Because the goal isn’t to “fix” her curls, it’s to care for them in a way that keeps them healthy and helps her feel confident in every style.

Sometimes that looks like stretching her hair out so we can get to those little fuzz balls that like to hide deep in her coils.

Every beach trip used to feel like I was packing up the whole house just to keep the kids entertained. And honestly? It was more stressful than fun.

Lately I’ve been keeping it simple, and this collapsible beach bucket + sand toy set has been a game changer. It barely takes up space, it’s easy to throw in the bag, and the kids stay busy without me carrying a million things.

Some seasons feel messy.
Uncertain.
Like you’re juggling too much and still questioning if you’re doing enough.

But what if… this isn’t chaos?
What if it’s alignment?

What if the things that feel heavy right now
are actually shaping something better than you planned?

I’m learning to pause in the middle of it all,
the noise, the mental load, the motherhood, the unknown
and trust that God is working, even when I can’t see it yet.

Maybe nothing is falling apart…
maybe it’s all coming together in ways I don’t fully understand yet.

Not in the big milestones or perfectly planned days…
but in the quiet, ordinary ones.

The laughter, the fresh air, the time together,
the moments that don’t look like much to anyone else
but mean everything to you.

Sometimes it looks like this…
and that’s more than enough.

Summer travel, but make it easier on families.

We recently checked out the newly opened @staybridgesuites Sarasota – Bradenton Airport and wanted to share this option with you if you’re planning a family trip this summer.

What stood out to us is how this stay is set up to make traveling with kids a little more manageable, especially for longer stays or multi-day trips.

Here are a few things families would appreciate:

🍳 Complimentary hot breakfast daily (one less thing to plan every morning 🙌🏽)
🍽️ Suite-style rooms with full kitchens, perfect for snacks, quick meals, or picky eaters
🏊🏽‍♀️ Outdoor pool to unwind after a full day out
🏋🏽‍♀️ 24-hour fitness center if you want to stay active while traveling
🧺 Laundry on-site (because kids 😅)
🥂 Evening social hours on select nights with light bites + drinks
🐾 Pet-friendly options if you’re bringing the whole family

Location-wise, it’s about 20 minutes from the beach, so you can plan your beach days without needing to stay directly on the water and still be close to some of Sarasota’s most popular spots.

It’s also super convenient being near the airport, which makes travel days a little smoother.

If you’re looking for a stay that gives you space, flexibility, and some built-in conveniences, this is one to keep on your list for summer.

Follow @funwiththejohnsons for more family-friendly hotels, travel tips, and places we’ve been checking out lately.

Love a fun trend and also because Not everything that builds a life is loud or flashy… sometimes it looks like partnership, support, and having someone in your corner through every season.

We’ve grown together, figured things out together, and built something real in the middle of life, kids, and all the chaos. And that? That’s the kind of “rich” I’ll take every time 🤍

Because when you’ve got the right person beside you, everything else just hits different.
