Whew! A lot of info. Do we like the Toniebox? Yes! My 2 year old uses it daily. But, TBH, I kind of bought my Toniebox blindly. I knew a little, but not a ton. And while it's been a hit & is used quite a bit, I wish I had known more just to fully understand how it functions . The biggest thing for me, was the character voices not matching the movie voices! It caught us all off guard. Again, my toddler didn't mind, but my older kids and I definitely noticed 𤣠Here's my list: šPros: ā¢Very kid friendly. Little hands can put Tonies on easily due to being magnets. ā¢Great for young kids! I personally recommend for ages 2-6. Tonies recommends for 3+. ā¢Durable with squishy sides ā¢Fun characters and figurines to collect (characters make great birthday or Christmas gifts or rewards for kids to work towards) ā¢Tonies are easy to store at home: on a magnetic shelf or just in a bin or tote ā¢Movie/show characters, clever (educational) Tonies, or creative Tonies (record your own/loved one up to 90 min) ā¢7 hours of battery life ā¢Sold on Amazon, Target, Walmart, & their website ā¢Bundle options are often available to save on pricing šCons ā¢Harder to change songs, no real pause feature ā¢Tonie character voices don't always match movie voices ā¢A little big to take on the go + Characters can fall off easily ā¢Tonie characters can cost up to $20. So, not cheap if you lose them ā¢Look like toys (which is a pro & a con). My toddler likes playing with them, but they often get misplaced with other toys. I try to keep them separate when storing. They do have a Tonie symbol on the bottom to help identify. Stay tuned for my Yoto mini review! It's another great option that's stolen my heart, especially for kids 5-6 and up!
