⭐️ Recipe : (I halfed this in the video & it made enough for 1 maybe 2 people. Recipe below is NOT halfed )

•4 cups vanilla ice cream (I used homestyle vanilla)
•4 Cadbury creme eggs chopped
•2 TBS whipping cream

Pulse in a blender 10ish times. You still want some bigger chunks! Top with some chopped creme eggs & chocolate syrup!

You wanna gate keep this one from the rest of us Mickey D’s?! I got it figured out 🫡

*I will say the Globble balls are pretty fun! I’ve never had them stick in hair or clothes or anything BUT a few instances where they are thrown up high on the wall & take some time to fall 😅

*@nodpodofficial: if you have any trouble falling asleep, I think this is totally worth it! I’ve been using it over a month & it’s been great. You can also put it in the freezer to make it totally cold (like for migraines) AND it’s also machine washable. You can heat it up in your dryer if you want!

*Always pan: look, if a pan is costing me $135 I want it to be one of the best. Its highly promoted by influencers, but I’ve owned it several years now & am not impressed.

*Hydrojug: do I use a Hydrojug? Yes, but stopped buying new ones over a year ago. I am so annoyed they have AND sell the lids that don’t mold on their site, but are currently NOT PUTTING THEM ON THEIR NEW RELEASES. If I’m buying a $45 cup, I don’t want to spend another $9 on another lid that should be on there anyway. Yes, if you write them, about a moldy lid they will send you a new one for free, but I’ve replaced some lids 3+ times and I’m tired of it 🫣🙃

Just going to word vomit for a minute on class Valentines. Look, if it brings you joy to deck the halls and go all out on these then YOU GO GLEN COCO! But, some of these options I see shared are like 💀🤑💰

I’m just reminding you there are a ton of class Valentines out there that get the job done and don’t require second mortgages or a lot of time to make.

Give candy, don’t give candy. I don’t care! Just remember, most of it will probably get trashed anyway 🙃 (unless you give out nerd clusters or Reese’s hearts. We don’t trash those in our house)

I ain’t ashamed to admit that in my mid 30’s & really find coloring relaxing!

I thought my older 2 kids were kind of over it …until winter break. I wanted some activities we could do (but a puzzle wouldn’t stand a chance in our house with 2 toddlers) so I revamped some of our coloring supplies & got things they may appeal more towards my older kids. Then, I just started sitting down & doing it by myself when I could & slowly they joined in. We colored nearly every day of break. While they colored we talked. We watched movies. Some days I read to them. Some days friends joined. We bonded & Conversations naturally happened.

It’s a good winter activity & it’s something I hope we can keep doing together. Coloring + connecting 🖍️

I shared this last year & I’m sharing again because it’s so simple, but it changes the game IMO

Don’t save the stockings til last minute! Organize now & thank yourself later as you hand the bags off to your husband to fill up the stockings 👊🏻

I used to avoid simmer pots because I thought they looked like too much work. Turns out, I was wrong (happens rarely 😉 - just ask my husband). They’re super easy, they smell like Christmas in a pot, & they last 3 days.

With littles, I prefer to do mine in a mini crockpot, but the simmer pots on the stove work just as great.

Add the ingredients to your grocery order for Christmas & give it a shot!

Recipe: (you could cut this in half)
•2 teaspoons nutmeg
•3 teaspoons whole cloves
•3 anise stars (optional. Kind of hard to find a bit more expensive. I’ve done simmer pots without them & they still smell great!)
•1 c cranberries
•2 sprigs rosemary
•2-3 cinnamon sticks
•2 navel oranges

Have you tried ‘em?! Gimme your thoughts if so.

If you want to:
•1 bag cranberries (rinsed)
• 1 can 7UP
•1 cup OJ
•1 cup (ish) powdered sugar - DO NOT use a kind with cornstarch. Som say that it makes them taste like soap. I used organic from Target with tapioca starch in it. (Whatever that means)

Pour 7UP and OJ on cranberries & let soak in fridge . Most recipes said overnight but some said 24 hours - so do whatever

Drain all liquid. Pour 1 cup powdered sugar on them and shake to cover.

Bake 250 for 4-5 min (no longer or they get soggier). Let cool completely! I put mine in the fridge

I really enjoy stuffing stockings. I’m convinced just aren’t many affordable toys that are stocking size, that won’t be raged cleaned in a couple months. I’ve definitely learned to simplify and focus on practical things or consumable things.

I got the Cozy Christmas coloring book m at Target & my 7 year old & I colored in it a ton today! They have a ton of themes and would fit great in stocking. The markers are a Black Friday buy, but they’re alcohol based and not washable, so better for older kids! They have a thick and a thin end.

And....I'm just going to say it, sometimes I think stockings can get out of control with amount of things AND price points. I always remind myself that stockings aren't the star of the show. I try to keep ours practical & not filled with junk filler toys. Hopefully some of these ideas help!
