I’ve had this cookbook for a long time and still reference it a lot. It has the best roasted chicken recipe that I have found to date. Of all Thomas Keller’s cookbooks, this one is actually approachable and doable on a week night. I also love his “lifesavers” chapter, that focuses on pickles, jams, and other sauces that can be made and stored for awhile.
