Choose spaces that let you breathe deeper As a yoga instructor, one of my favorite ways to start class is in child’s pose. It’s simple, grounding, and honestly the best reminder to just pause for a second and breathe Before anything else, before movement or flow, it gives you a moment to arrive on your mat, slow your breath, and settle your nervous system. That reset is everything Because breath is the foundation of it all. When your breath slows down, everything else follows. Your body softens, your mind clears, and you can actually be present in what you’re doing It’s something I think about off the mat too.
