Pencil Eyeliner can be POWERFUL… but more isn’t always better. If you’re over 35, you may have noticed that the way you applied eyeliner in your 20s doesn’t always have the same effect anymore. When we draw a thick, harsh line all the way around the eye, it can visually close the eye in and actually make it look smaller. Try this instead: use your pencil lightly and softly around the your eyes (think more shading) and try not to go all the way to the inner corner of the eyes. You don’t need a heavy line to define your eyes!
