After visiting the French Riviera multiple times, this is one of my FAVORITE towns - you simply can’t skip it! 📍Villefranche-sur-Mer is a much smaller and more cozy town than Nice or Cannes with old-world charm and stunning Mediterranean vistas. Nestled between Nice and Monaco on the French Riviera, this gem is a short ride from bustling city life yet feels like a world apart. 🚊 Getting to Villefranche-sur-Mer is a breeze. Hop on a quick 15 minute train ride from Nice Ville station or take a scenic drive along the coast. As you approach, the azure waters of the bay come into view, dotted with colorful boats and framed by pastel-hued buildings cascading down the hillsides. 🏖️ Stepping into Villefranche-sur-Mer feels like stepping back in time. The town retains its authentic French Riviera ambiance with narrow cobblestone streets, sun-dappled squares, and quaint cafes. Wander through the historic Old Town, or stroll along the Promenade des Marinières to soak in panoramic views of the bay and the distant Cap Ferrat. 🌅 Why visit Villefranche-sur-Mer?
