I thought the year was going to start with boarding passes… Instead, it started in the ER. 🤕 😩 A few weeks ago, I broke my ankle - and everything we had planned shifted overnight. Trips canceled. Surgery scheduled. A long recovery ahead. I was disappointed. Overwhelmed. And realizing how quickly “normal” can change. I’m still processing it. Still adjusting. Still figuring out what the next few months will look like.
