This outfit came together because I wanted something that felt work-appropriate, comfortable, and visually interesting. I started with a chocolate brown Fair Isle cardigan from Gap in a size Medium Tall. The slightly fuzzy wool texture adds warmth and structure, while the color keeps it from feeling heavy. Underneath, I layered a white, slightly sheer silky cami in a soft camel tone. It’s just long enough to peek out below the cardigan, which helps break up the outfit and keeps the layers from feeling bulky. On bottom, I wore the Endless Cargo Pants from Athleta in a size 6 Tall in a light mocha brown. These are a straight-leg cargo style, but they can be converted into joggers by snapping the ankles. Worn loose, they felt a little too structured with the oversized cardigan, so I snapped the ankles to create more shape and balance the volume on top. I buttoned the top two buttons of the cardigan to give it more structure. Wearing it fully open felt a little too relaxed for work, especially with the deep V-neck, and buttoning it helped everything layer and drape more intentionally. For shoes, I went with chocolate brown suede Mary Janes from Cole Haan. Cargo joggers and an oversized sweater can skew masculine quickly, so pairing them with a softer, more feminine shoe kept the outfit balanced while staying within the same brown color palette. The result is an outfit that feels breathable, movable, and put-together. It works for the office, but it’s easy to swap pieces — change the Mary Janes for sneakers or the cardigan for a zip-up and it becomes a casual, on-the-go look. For reference: I’m 6’3”, wearing a Medium Tall on top and a 6 Tall on bottom. LTKTall LTKootd LTKPlusSize
