I use lined journals for each of my boys as prayer journals! Each has their own color and I record prayers for them. I pray their journals are one day treasured by them!

Simple fall craft with an easy set up!
Using a leaf punch, we punch out different fall colors. I paint a tree with branches on watercolor paper. The boys punch out leaves and glue them on to the branches & grass.

Homeschool language arts day with multiple grades.

We work specifically on reading comprehension, writing practice, and learning letter sounds.

We start our morning with quick win table activities. Our lessons were quick and to the point so we could get out the door by 9:30am. We will take our learning on the go with us through podcasts, life, and library trips!

Air dry clay pumpkins are super simple, minimal mess, and make fun decorations!

We created our pumpkins today using air dry clay and toothpicks. We made loops in our stems so they can be strung together when they dry!

We mixed different colors of orange with beige, brown, and yellow so our pumpkins would be different shades of orange!

This mornings screen free activities was felting. Which is so much fun and a wonderful way to keep hands busy.

We have used the felting kits I have included (specifically ocean) to learn the techniques of felting. The variety kit has been fun to make different shapes and Christmas ornaments in the past. I included our mini cookie cutters we used for those.

Trading in our science lessons to learn about growth mindset and our brains. Today focused on the power of our words and thoughts. This growth mindset workbook is so helpful for teaching concepts to kids. I have included some of the other books in our library for this subject, also

Loving my smart free watch that also counts steps. I originally got it to help me use my phone less for checking time + date! It’s been wonderful & prettier than other pedometers I’ve seen! The perfect step counting watch for moms!
