I am absolutely speechless!!!!

I usually gravitate toward antiques and vintage finds, but I genuinely would have guessed these chinoiserie panels were several hundred dollars each. Nope!!!

Bright, herby, garlicky, a little tangy, and somehow good on absolutely everything. I make this constantly during the summer and it never lasts more than a day in our house.

Drizzle over steak, spoon onto tacos, use it as a marinade for chicken or shrimp, toss with roasted potatoes, spread onto sandwiches, or serve with grilled vegetables and crusty bread. Or honestly… just eat it with a spoon.

Peony season is almost here 🌸

Peonies will start waking up this month in March, and in colder climates April. That means now is the time to install supports and fertilize them before the blooms get heavy.

I fertilize when the shoots are about 2–3 inches tall up to around a foot high in early spring. A slow release, low nitrogen fertilizer or bone meal works best because too much nitrogen will give you lots of leaves but fewer flowers.

Scatter the fertilizer in a ring around the plant about 6 inches away from the stems and lightly work it into the soil.

I’ve had 5 personal friends who have had enormous water leaks and full renovations in just the last year alone 🤯 WHY are these not standard for every home?! I purchased these a few months ago and totally forgot to place them throughout the house. Water is one of the leading causes of home damages. I need to buy another pack but immediately putting these out today. Feeling so thankful these days 💙 Nothing says love more than homemade and I love spoiling my people! And best part, it’s super affordable to make a big batch that gifts to several people. This batch made a ton!! It was SOO easy to make. Just set and forget it in a crock pot!

🍎 Homemade Apple Butter — the sweetest way to say “thank you” 🍂

All you need:
• 5½ lbs sweet apples (Golden Delicious, McIntosh, Fuji, or Gala — no need to peel!)
• 1 cup brown sugar
• ¾ cup white sugar
• 1 Tbsp cinnamon
• ¼ tsp salt
• ⅛ tsp ground cloves
• 1 vanilla bean (or 1½ tsp vanilla extract)

How to make it:
1️⃣ Chop apples and toss into a slow cooker.
2️⃣ Mix sugars, cinnamon, salt, and cloves in a bowl, then pour over the apples and stir.
3️⃣ Cover and cook on low for 10 hours.
4️⃣ Blend until smooth, stir in vanilla, and cook uncovered for 2 more hours, stirring now and then.
5️⃣ Cool, jar it up, and store in the fridge — it keeps for about 2 weeks.

Spread it on biscuits, swirl into oatmeal, or gift it with a little note that says “thankful for you.” 🫶
