But when Vanessa’s half sister drops her infant, Grace, off with her and never comes back, she finds her whole life turned upside down. Adrian lives next door, shares a wall with Vanessa actually, and one night when Grace just won’t stop crying, Adrian knocks on her door offering to help sooth the baby. The rest, as they say, is history. But there’s more to Vanessa’s story.. this touching book gets a little heavy at times. I absolutely LOVE Abby Jimenez’s writing style and wit, and she’s so good at giving the characters such well rounded personalities. The was hardly any spice in this one.
