I turned an otherwise simple outfit into something a little different with some faux fur cuffs. I got these back in undergrad as boot cuffs but decided to give them another chance of life as sleeve cuffs. I’m all for shopping my own closet and making the most of what I already own! I wore my contrast collar and cuff top to kick start the year; this executive top with an orchid is the same one I’m wearing in my LinkedIn picture! Instead of wearing it with a leather pencil skirt, I paired it with a midnight blue with red wool plaid midi skirt. Working in a corporate setting in the heart of biotech means learning how to dress warmly and professionally.
