I took Amelia to the mall the other day & wanted to try on these joggers I’ve been wanting for a while now & Omgosh… currently sitting in my cart in multiple colors & trying to decide which one I want! A week well spent 🩷 We watched Joe & a friend play in a cornhole tournament, made muffins, had a hot tub night, played soccer, got family photos done, & cuddled a lot of the couch!

Burgundy is definitely on trend this season but it’s also a classic color so you can consider it a closet staple! I rounded up a few of my favorite burgundy coats because they’ve been on mind as we’re approaching the holidays!

We took this “little” girl for a weight check on Monday & she’s 35 pounds… at 4 months old… guess she’s going to be on the bigger side of the 40-60 pounds that was estimated!

I put a lot of time into finding a good winter coat for my kids because I hate being cold & some coats are just better than others! Also, we typically get 2-3 years out of our coats so quality matters. I’ll tag the two I went with (you get 15% off your first order + one is already on sale!)!

Trying to get my 10 year old to eat more vegetables so I made pumpkin zucchini chocolate chip sourdough muffins this morning! Recipe as follows:

1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup sourdough discard
1/2 cup avocado oil (I substituted 1/3 cup pumpkin)
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup grated zucchini

Bake at 425 for 5 minutes and then 350 for 15 minutes

I had a moment of “I don’t have anything to wear” last week as I was getting ready to go to dinner so I pulled out a “summer” dress & layered a fall colored sweater over it. “Better for you” Halloween candy swaps 🎃👻🍬 I buy some of this & some regular candy & try to let my kids have some of each in moderation. Whatever works best for you is best but I like having something to switch out most of my kids’ candy with- we donate the rest to our troops overseas through our school!
