Are you like me with sensitivities to just about everything, ladies???

My latest concerns are artificial sweeteners(I already know I’m allergic to Stevia), citric acid (often is still make from mold and is in just about everything processed), potato starch (did you know this is even in shredded cheese)?! And, I usually only use olive oil but I realized seed oils may be in prepared protein drinks or bars.

So, yesterday I decided to make my own and it ended up tasting really good cold and blended with ice, too. Hot wasn’t what I was hoping for but I haven’t found the exact setting to get that to work yet. Stay tuned for more experimenting with that one.

Reach for the sky🌞

Today, during one of my livestreams I was asked if I stretch. Truthfully, not as often as I should but today I was inspired to do so because of the suggestion.

So, here we are. I’m now coming in with a reminder that gentle stretching does a body good but be sure to work with your body and not against it. Lean into what you can do and build from there. I’m a hypermobile gal on the hEDS (Ehlers Danlos) spectrum and I am very cautious when it comes to stretching so I try to just let me body land where it wants to without trying to push it further. Injury prevention is always my main focus.

If your new here, Hi, I’m Beth and like at least 11% of women worldwide, I live wi the a disease called Lipedema that creates a disproportionate lower half and often fuller upper arms. The lymphatic system is often burdened by the Lipedema nodules under the skin and some form of swelling can be present. Today, that’s my issue regardless of the fact that I have on graduated medical grade compression 20-30 mmhz under my pants to help control any swelling and that I follow a low inflammatory nutrition lifestyle. I cannot say enough about the softness of the activewear jumpsuit both inside and out. The internal fleece lining feels like a gentle hug🤗

This long sleeve yoga type onesie has a choke hold on me now! So far, I've bought 4 colors and think it will be a great option even into the summer to get that lymph flowing through more perspiration, ladies.

I look a wreck but Day 1 starts now!

Taking advantage of the Fire Horse energy that begins today. Plus, starting the @stanforcreators "Dare to Post " challenge for 30 days.

You know i usually like to bring good news usually but THIS is how health journeys (& life) go. Nothing is linear. Not weight loss success, entrepreneurship, marriage, raising children, friendship, nor content creation. Yes, I am up 9 pounds of inflammation since Feb 1st when I took my last shot.💉

Here's why ~ I decided to act like a normal person (well, at least a gluten free person) who goes all the places and eats all the things. A person who actually here's about a new food and actually tries it or just gets something they think about. I drove to the store and bought the new Gluten Free Cheez Its. While I was there, I remembered someone told me about the Gluten Free Oreos and Gluten Free Chips of Hoy.
So, I got those, too. All knowing that today I would be getting back to non processed foods for the next 40 days as my start. I'm glad I tried them all cause now I feel like i am in the know and I can give my honest opinion and review in service to my gluten free community and food allergy friends.

What I can say I learned is that my metabolic, MCAS, food allergy, lipedema system has not magically corrected itself yet but I am hoping that making this change back to whole foods and also adding concerted movement will free up my system to operate more freely and with more ease.

Trigger Warning for my Lipedema Ladies💜🙏

Consider this your cautionary tale! YW

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my full medical grade graduated compression that has texture built in to help move the lymph along through the day to keep my Lipedema swelling minimized… however, it is not made of material that your clothing just glides over. It definitely takes some tugging and adjusting to get into just the right place for comfort of both the compression and the outer garment you are trying on!

Truthfully, no one has time or patience when shopping is often already a chore especially when you are in a body that is changing and so sizing is not as familiar especially when you are exploring new brands!!! (Yes, I totally know this is beyond a run on sentence but at least you can tell I fully wrote it myself from stream of consciousness)

See, I am no different than you, ladies. As I branch out to discover new clothing options, it is quite triggering trying to asses if the fit will work for me and if so, what size should I choose. Adding, non gliding compression was an actual added stress because I actually had my easiest compression in my hand that morning and chose to put it down cause I wanted full foot to chest coverage🤦🏻‍♀️

So, please learn from my mistake. It was not fun and I was mortified when I saw there was a line waiting for the fitting rooms when I finally came out.

Thankfully, I did end up buying a jumpsuit that is awesome but left 3 other styles of jeans behind.
