What. A. Week!!! And it’s only Tuesday!! Our poor dog (that is overweight and old🙁) tore is ACL on Saturday. Surgery is not an option because of his age, so we’ve been trying to help the poor guy stand, walk and lay down since Saturday night. We are so desperate to help him heal and most importantly, get comfortable again, that we tried acupuncture today. So far, so good.. but we’ve been ordered to put him on a diet. Not sure how easy that will be, considering the only way to have him hold still for the needles, was to shovel treats into his mouth😑. The doctor recommended giving him carrots instead of cookies, and I laughed out loud!! She was very serious, but she doesn’t know just how finicky that old boy is! Fruits, veggies, he’s having none of it (believe me, I’ve tried). Any recommendations for healthy treats to be given to a dog that refuses to be treated like a dog, would be greatly appreciated😬 Sharing my foyer today! I’m keeping it minimal, since it’s a small space.
