#AD we're excited to share the finished renovation of the first of two bathroom designs #dwelloctoberstudio is creating as a design challenge featuring brand new @loweshomeimprovement products. when designing this bathroom, our goal was to create an elegant space reminiscent of a spa. to accomplish this, we started by selecting a beautiful sea green vanity as the focal point of the design. we paired the vanity with a curved wood mirror and brushed gold transitional wall sconces. the gold is carried throughout the rest of the room, including the plumbing fixtures and accessories, as well as the floor tile, which is a large format porcelain tile with gray and gold veining. we completed the look with simple white subway tile on the walls, a jute rug with a metallic pattern, and a white hydrangea faux flower arrangement to add warmth and sophistication to the room. #LowesPartner #dwelloctober #LTKFindsUnder50 #LTKFindsUnder100 #LTKHome
#AD we're thrilled to reveal the finished renovation of the second bathroom design #dwelloctoberstudio created as a design challenge featuring brand new @loweshomeimprovement products. when designing this bathroom, we were inspired by the gorgeous cornflower blue vanity and used this as the focal point of the room. we love its clean lines and classic coastal feel. we paired the vanity with a more organically-shaped wavy gold mirror and a fluted glass and gold sconce. modern brushed nickel plumbing fixtures and bathroom accessories add contrast to the gold finishes, while tying in with the vanity cabinet hardware. both the gold and nickel tones are reflected in the porcelain floor tile with its bold marble-inspired veining. simple white subway tile provides a clean, classic look for the shower walls. a woven jute accent rug with a chevron pattern and a pretty hydrangea floral arrangement add a bit of texture and warmth to the space. #LowesPartner #dwelloctober #LTKFindsUnder100 #LTKFindsUnder50 #LTKHome

while we love a classic blue and white color scheme, one of our favorite tricks is to introduce a third color to keep things from feeling too on the nose. inspired by a beautiful hydrangea print wallpaper from @riflepaperco, we created a custom shade of green paint to use for the trim, doors, and even some of the furniture in the primary bedroom at the #preppyhollowhouse. wide plank white oak hardwood floors and woven wood window shades add natural texture to the space. #dwelloctoberstay #dwelloctober #LTKHome

despite being a foreclosure, this #dwelloctoberrealestate mid-century modern fixer-upper had great bones and was just in need of some TLC. the floor plan flowed really nicely throughout the house and all of the rooms were a great size, so #dwelloctoberstudio kept the original layout exactly the same. in the living room, the old leaking windows were switched out for modern black ones, the wall to wall carpeting was removed, and the original hardwood floors were refinished to showcase their natural beauty. a custom-built wood divider creates separation between the front entry and the living room and accentuates mid-century modern feel. #dwelloctober #LTKhome

our goal with this #dwelloctoberstudio design project was to update a '90s builder grade home with lighter, brighter finishes that had a classic, yet modern feel. the living room was a long, rectangular space that had historically proved challenging to find a cohesive furniture layout. to remedy this, we added custom built-in bookcases and a more substantial mantel to make the fireplace the focal point of the room and create character in the home that looked as if it had always existed. new windows, light oak hardwood floors, and fresh white paint transformed the room into an inviting place to relax and unwind. #dwelloctober #LTKhome

have you ever considered converting a standard tub/shower combo into a walk in shower? we made this decision in the primary bath at the #goldengirlscondo to make the unit more accessible and functional for everyday life. we loved this pink starburst pattern cement tile so much that we added it to the outside walls of the shower as well to make even more of a statement. the faux terrazzo tile used on the floor is the perfect complement and adds a bit of texture and sparkle to the space. #dwelloctober #LTKhome
never underestimate the power of a fresh coat of white paint! can you believe that this is the same space? when updating the living room at the #goldengirlscondo, we removed the old bookshelves, allowing the black metal windows to serve as the focal point of the room. next, we painted the walls with our favorite white, @benjaminmoore Chantilly Lace, and swapped out the wood floors for a modern epoxy finish. these simple cosmetic changes completely transformed the space. #dwelloctober #LTKhome
