HOW TO INSTALL A DIAMOND TRELLIS

I get asked often how we installed our star Jasmine in a diamond shape so I’m reposting this from last year! Hope it helps and happy gardening! 🪴 FYI - in this video it’s a bit tangled due to having to remove it for paint but within a few weeks, it looks much more lush and green

1) MEASURE: You’ll need to know how wide & tall your wall is. For reference, ours is 42’ wide and 6’ tall

2) EYE SCREWS: install eye screws at every bottom, top, and cross point of the diamond.
Each bottom point of our diamonds are 3.5’ apart. We have 11 diamonds total.

3) VINE WIRE: get a sturdy vine wire and thread it through the eyescrews. We cut and used about 7.5 length pieces.

PLANT: install a vine about 10” away from your wall and wrap around the vine wire as it grows. You can also use vine twine/wire to attach and secure any longer stands to the trellis. We used Star Jasmine which doesn’t shed much, is perfect for narrow spaces, and for behind our pool.

I really love this new Polite Society Mascara available at Ulta! It’s very natural looking! If you like Ilia or hourglass tubular mascara, you’ll probably love this more. It’s a little more “feather-like” if that makes sense? Very natural but enhances the lashes and hold the curl so well! I LOVE This!

White Chocolate Dessert Cups! How cute are these? Perfect for spring baby or bridal showers, mothers day, and summertime ice cream sundaes!

I made a few mistakes along the way so it was trial and error but I found a few tips on the Sugar Hero's website that were SUPER HELPFUL! See below!

TIPS
- Use water balloons (not regular balloons) because the shape is much easier to dip
- Dip into chocolate at least two times! If you just do one layer, it's too thin and will crack
- Freeze the tray you place them onto so the chocolate hardens fast and the balloons stand up right
- Freeze the chocolate covered balloons for 20+ minutes and pop while frozen to ensure they don’t break

THREE Ingredient Spiked Lavender Lemonade 🍋 This simple @Empress1908Gin cocktail recipe is perfect for spring & summer parties!

INGREDIENTS:
2 Cups Empress 1908 Gin
52 oz Lemonade
Lavender Syrup (to taste)
SERVING: 8-10 glasses

DIRECTIONS:
1) Pour and mix all three ingredients into a large bowl 2)
Cover and freeze overnight 3) Mix ice/slush with a fork and set out for 15 minutes before serving.

She had such a knack for elevating the simplest of recipes just like this one! - Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix

- Vanilla Frosting
- 1 Stick of Softened Butter

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix egg, softened butter and Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix until dough ball forms. Scoop one inch dough balls and place on baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden brown. Let cool and slice strawberries thinly. Frost cooled cookies with Betty Crocker Vanilla Frosting. Top with Strawberries, Blueberries and a optional sprig of mint to garnish!
