What a journey it’s been👇🏻 . 🏖 A year ago we purchased this rental cottage in Empire Beach, Michigan. . 🏖 Last October we started a renovation journey of a lifetime. It’s been one of the hardest things we have ever done. I honestly wasn’t sure if we would finish. . 🏖 It was severely neglected both inside and out. The gardens where so overgrown you couldn't see the house! . 🏖 Andy and I did majority of the work ourselves. I did all the design work without ever going into a store! . 🏖 Seeing it all done has been so overwhelming. God has been so loving. He has given us knowledge, wisdom, strength and courage - beyond what we could ever have mustered on our own. He filled our days with peace that where plagued with worry and stress. . 🏖 I will share the before cottage tour in my stories today.
