Bye kid! My bed won’t miss you…. Well, till he tries to climb it at night probably. 😂 This is my second co- sleeping baby that I’m transitioning to a floor bed. We sleep trained our oldest and that was the must stressful thing I ever did, which is why we didn’t do any training with our last two boys. Sleep and kids is one of those things that truly you need to do what’s best for you. I talk to parents a lot and they always sound stress about sleep, and I get it… the lack of sleep will kill you. But really it’s because we have expectations or we see other parents talk about how well their kid sleep and you start to think you must be doing something wrong. When you do what’s best for your family, it could never be wrong. Just looks different. We heard horror stories about sleep training, and guess what? Did my back hurt ? Yes. Did we have to find other places for sex ? Yes. Did the kid leave our bed eventually? Yes! Right now we hope it goes well and he does adjust. If not, we will adjust to how we can meet his needs as he gets use to sleeping alone ( like how scary, you’ve been using her foot to feel your mamas body and now she’s gone! Ha) we will be using our @get_nanit to monitor him. & keeping our bed bumper near him. We can’t wait to add his routine frame from @charmspring , a bookshelf, and some prints.
