Slow Supper Sunday đ˝ď¸ Todayâs recipe: Chicken Devon This dinner has been passed down from my mom (and probably her mom before that). Itâs a staple in our home and so so easy! You can do it crockpot style or in the oven! RECIPE: â˘3-4 large chicken breasts (cut into small pieces) â˘1/2 yellow or white onion (diced) â˘1/2 stick of butter â˘1 can of cream of mushroom soup â˘1 can of cream of chicken soup â˘1 cup of sour cream DIRECTIONS: â˘cut up chicken breasts (add to crockpot or baking dish) â˘SautĂŠ onion in 4 TBS of butter till clear â˘Add onions to chicken â˘Cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours â˘An hour before serving, combine cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, and sour cream in a pan till blended â˘Add to chicken in crockpot â˘After an hour gently shred chicken into small pieces â˘Serve over rice * if you choose to do this in the oven all you have to do is after you sautĂŠ your onions, add in the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup together and pour over your chicken. You will then bake this covered for an hour at 350° and then uncover it for an additional 30 minutes.
