Note: my colorway of the wallpaper and tassels are no longer available. Every angle of our hallway is my favorite. When we added wallpaper to this hallway, I knew I wanted to change up the gallery wall but I didn’t want to fully replace it or incur the cost of reframing this many pieces of art. So, I painted the frames a high gloss deep red and added tassels to visually lengthen each frame and fill out the wall. When the walls were painted white, the all white space seemed to better balance the smaller frames but once the wallpaper was up it felt like it needed another decorative element. I also tried a taupe colored tassel because I worried the green and red would give off Christmas vibes. While the taupe looked pretty, color is what makes my heart sing and the deep red with this shade of green give off my signature traditional with a twist vibes rather than classic Christmas.
