Ok but what if life is exponentially more fun when you let yourself dream?

OK BUT WHAT IF YOU SET YOURSELF UP FOR REJECTION?

This is your tiny experiment number one

Last week I did an experiment of setting myself up for rejection for 3 days. It solidified what we already know - “you don’t know if you don’t ask”

The thing is, getting a no stings and a lot of times we have a sense of when we’re going to get a no anyway so it’s easy to say “I’ll just put my energy somewhere else so it’s not a waste of time”

The more comfortable we can get with getting a no, the more comfortable we get asking and the more opportunities and doors open up.

The hardest thing about feeling stuck is feeling like the only thing that will get you unstuck is something grand, but I believe that it’s small daily things that you can do that actually get that feeling of stickiness or behind out of your system.

I owned a dry brush ten years ago in my goopy woo woo era. Threw it out during a move and never replaced it, not because I decided it wasn’t working, but because it was out of sight and therefore, to my type B brain, it did not exist.

So the first assignment is simple. Buy the version that is pretty enough to leave on the counter. This one is easy to hold, it’s refillable so you pop the head out every six months instead of replacing the whole thing, and it looks like something you’d choose to display.

PRO TIP: Dry brushing after an internationals flight will make you feel SO good

Here’s everything we did on a long weekend in the Hudson Valley and the Catskills - autocamp was such a beautiful wedding venue our friends chose and so much fun to stay in the airstreams all close by all the guest.

Deja Brew. I got the sandwich of my dreams here I have not stopped craving it and also the lemon blueberry cookie was incredible. A local recommended this to us and I wish I could tell them how happy I was with this suggestion

Woodstock Oriol 9 for brunch and then walk over to the flea market. I am currently regretting not getting one of the fur coats I tried on.

It was SO crowded on a Saturday morning but was glad to get some steps in. We went to Deja Brew after.

I dont know if this is a hot take, but whenever we go to New York or Connecticut I will take the road trip over the train or the flight every single time.
