Today

I celebrate how lucky I feel to be a Mum.

I am grateful beyond words for my own Mum.

I send hope to anyone wanting and waiting to be a Mum.

I send love to anyone who is missing a Mum.

I think of all the Mums who hold their children in their hearts not their arms.

I wish for better for all the Mums in difficult circumstances.

Where I think social media is heading in 2026 — from someone with a background in digital marketing.

In an era of stretched pockets, value has become fashionable again.

Slide 1 — Educational content is the flex now
• With incomes being stretched more than ever, people don’t want fluff — they want value.
• Educational content is winning because audiences are more selective with their time.
• Useful, insightful, or genuinely honest content is what people choose to follow now.

Slide 2 — The luxury aesthetic is starting to dip
• The shift is already happening — experiences are being prioritised over products, with Hermès handbags once in constant demand now being resold.
• Overly polished, aspirational content feels less relatable than it used to.
• Relatability and realism are becoming more aspirational than perfection.

Slide 3 — Storytelling is becoming more important than aesthetics
• Pretty content might stop the scroll, but stories build connection.
• Audiences want context, growth, and real narratives — not just highlight reels.
• Storytelling is what keeps people invested long-term.

Slide 4 — Quiet marketing is on the rise
• Less “buy this now” and more products naturally existing in everyday life.
• Audiences trust what feels lived-in, not aggressively sold.
• Subtlety is converting better than hard selling.

Slide 5 — More content isn’t better anymore
• Audiences are overwhelmed by volume and constant posting.
• Fewer, more thoughtful posts are becoming more save-worthy and shareable.
• Quality, intention, and clarity are beating quantity again.

I’ll be honest — I haven’t always been able to show up like this while working full-time / pregnant.
But this is the direction I’m intentionally moving toward in 2026.
Less noise, more substance.

When I was thinking about how to announce my pregnancy, I wanted to share it in a way that felt joyful but still considerate — because I know it can be tricky when your feed is suddenly full of bumps and baby scans while you’re navigating a path. Whether that’s fertility struggles, loss, being in the wrong relationship, waiting to meet your person, or just happily living your best non-parent life. 💛

We always knew we wanted a child, but it’s wild how many different seasons we move through as women — wanting it, not sure yet, waiting, hoping, healing. Whatever stage you’re in, I see you. 💛

Even though life’s about to change, I’ll try & not suddenly make ‘mum’ my entire personality — still firmly in lifestyle content era, just with a plus one. ☁️

If you’re a content creator in your “this is so cringey” era — keep going. Your “how did I get here?!” moment is closer than you think.

We were invited to watch a football match in an executive box 🏟️⚽️ — wild, because back at uni I used to work as a waitress / bartender in London football clubs like @arsenal. Full circle moment 🥹. @SobhaRealty #TheArtofDetail hospitality was incredible — such a special experience.

Facts that don’t match my appearance

1. I have a nerdy side, I started playing console games when I was 4. I grew up on the Nintendo SNES, and my first game was Street Fighter. Chun-Li was my inspiration—strong, fearless, and pulling off high kicks. That stuck with me..

2. My music taste is pure chaos.
I went to R&B nights and indie clubs. These days, I rotate between pop bangers, Linkin Park throwbacks, and the occasional classical moment—usually while blasting millennial club music in my AirPods and replying to corporate emails like it’s war prep.

3. I didn’t grow up with money.
Council house kid who didn’t know people went on ski seasons or owned butter dishes and Aga ovens until uni. But it gave me grit. My real accent is quite a harsh Mancunian one 😉. I’m still a bit chavy on the inside—but I clean up well.

4. I swear. A lot.
Not because I’m unpolished—it just throws people off.

5. I’m introverted.
People think I’m outgoing because I’m on social media. But really? I’m pretty introverted. I just know how to turn it on when I need to. Comes with being an actress.

6. I never meant to be a content creator.
I just kept showing up—and now here we are: mutually confused, yet fully committed.

7. I’m still obsessed with cute things.
Hello Kitty, Pusheen, Cinnamoroll—I’m still obsessed. Cute things give me childhood flashbacks and I’m wildly nostalgic. I think it’s crazy that as a millennial we were the last generation to see technology change so much in the last 10 years.

I don’t fit neatly into a niche on social media—because I genuinely love too many things to pick just one.

You don’t have to make sense to everyone. You just have to be real.

Glow-Up Tips I Learned from the #CleanGirl & #SelfCare TikTok Trends ✨ (from someone who wasn’t considered confident growing up—proof in the last pic 👀)

1. Face – Korean skincare is the secret. Double cleanse (hands only—ditch makeup wipes!) and wear SPF daily. Consistency = glow.

2. Hair – Brush, massage, and oil post-wash. Skip cheap shampoos—Kérastase or Ouai will change your hair.

3. Body – No gym? Walk 10k steps daily. Gym? 3x cardio + 2x yoga/Pilates a week.

4. Hygiene – Brush teeth for 2 mins minimum (obvs twice a day), visit dentist every 6m’s (oral hygiene is so important, having bad teeth can really affect confidence), exfoliate, and clean your makeup brushes—dirty brushes = breakouts.

5. Style – Manicured nails = confidence. Capsule wardrobe: smart coat, black/white tees, tailored trousers, perfect jeans + statement accessories.

6. Food – Japanese diet + homemade tacos on repeat.

A productive morning in #London

Did you know that @TheOrdinary * have launched a Body Care range?

I didn’t know how dirty my arm was until I used the Salicylic Acid 0.5% Body Serum. It’s now part of my #everythingshower routine.

I use the Niacinamide 5% Face and Body Emulsion to cleanse the skin (look at the texture of the product 😍) and finished it off with Natural Moisturizing Factors + Inulin Body Lotion to soften.
