I’d choose to be Latina in every lifetime. For those who don’t know me, the excitement around the Benito bowl? Well, he’s the soundtrack for the last few years. Record of the year for a reason - the music production kept salsa alive, packed with innuendos only we get. Por un beso de la flaca…. My parents moved to the Bronx in the late 80s, mixing with New Yorkicans who shared their culture. We have Puerto Rican heritage in my family too (from my aunt, first cousin, other cousin and her kids), common on the east coast. And not to mention one of my close besties is from PR too. The hype is real, and we thank you. Bad Bunny represents so many of us; it feels good knowing he’s living his truth. I’m proud of us - we show up, work hard, take care of our families, chase dreams, and keep joy and humor alive. We bring our cultura, our SAZÓN, our whole corazón to every space. I saw Bad Bunny at Prudential Center when he first started, and the energy was unmatched. It was around the time I had my on going partnership with them. Now I’m excited to hopefully share more of the events that come to Austin - @moodycenteratx Super excited for the Super Bowl, love seeing non-Spanish speakers vibe to it online.
