A big piece of my heart lives in Honduras. 🩵🤍

My parents were both born on the mainland — my mom from Siguatepeque and my dad from Jutiapa, near Danlí. I was born in NYC, raised in NJ, and somehow life brought me to live in Honduras for a few of my childhood years too. So yeah… Honduras has always been woven into me. 🥹

This was my 3rd time back in Roatán, and every time I come, I’m reminded just how grateful I am to God for these moments and the opportunity to reconnect with a place that feels like home in a different way. 🌴✨

We made it as far as La Ceiba this trip on our way to Cayos Cochinos, where we snorkeled around Cayo Timón 🐠🌊 — but next time? Mainland Honduras, I’m coming for you! There so much more to explore.

And I still need to make it to Utila and Guanaja… because apparently one lifetime isn’t enough for all the Honduran islands I want to explore. 🇭🇳

Recreating Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl look from this year — and turning it into outfit inspiration for your next special occasion.

The main thing I focused on was the color story: red and baby blue. That’s what really made her look stand out, so I used that as the foundation.

I put together three maxi dress options that give a similar vibe, all styled with slip-on red sandals. Gaga wore square-toe red pumps, but I opted for open-toe slip-on heels for a softer, more wearable feel.

And of course, bold red lipstick was a must.

Next time, I’m definitely adding red nails too because she really committed to every detail.

And if you want to elevate the look even more, you can pin a similar red flower onto your dress—or go for the exact one she wore, which I believe is Puerto Rico’s national flower. She wore it as a nod to Bad Bunny since he’s from Puerto Rico and she performed with him.

It’s dramatic, elegant, and honestly such a fun look to recreate for weddings, galas, or any moment you want to make an entrance.

I’d choose to be Latina in every lifetime. For those who don’t know me, the excitement around the Benito bowl? Well, he’s the soundtrack for the last few years. Record of the year for a reason - the music production kept salsa alive, packed with innuendos only we get. Por un beso de la flaca…. My parents moved to the Bronx in the late 80s, mixing with New Yorkicans who shared their culture. We have Puerto Rican heritage in my family too (from my aunt, first cousin, other cousin and her kids), common on the east coast. And not to mention one of my close besties is from PR too. The hype is real, and we thank you. Bad Bunny represents so many of us; it feels good knowing he’s living his truth. I’m proud of us - we show up, work hard, take care of our families, chase dreams, and keep joy and humor alive. We bring our cultura, our SAZÓN, our whole corazón to every space.
