I came up with this Western-inspired look with música regional in mind, but honestly, there are SO many places I could wear this… hopefully even the Houston Rodeo for the first time next year. 👀🤎🐎

And with Hispanic Heritage Month kicking off, it felt like the perfect time to celebrate a little piece of what I love — the music, the culture, and the fashion that comes with it.

There's something about the end of summer that always feels a little bittersweet. You want to hold onto it just a little longer... even though you know a new season is waiting for you.

For the inaugural celebration, Austin’s best came together at Distribution Hall—Top 3 winners across 200+ categories, incredible bites and cocktails from local favorites, live award reveals, music, art, and so many of the people shaping Austin’s culture and community. 🏆✨
The dress code was Austin Chic / Cocktail Chic—and honestly, I had to ask myself… what exactly is Austin Chic? 😂 So I decided to interpret it my way: bohemian with a few Western touches, while still keeping it polished and event-ready.

I went with a satin slip dress with lace trim — I know you ladies have seen this style lately everywhere.

A little bohemian, a little Western, a little Austin—and very much my vibe. ✨

A big piece of my heart lives in Honduras. 🩵🤍

My parents were both born on the mainland — my mom from Siguatepeque and my dad from Jutiapa, near Danlí. I was born in NYC, raised in NJ, and somehow life brought me to live in Honduras for a few of my childhood years too. So yeah… Honduras has always been woven into me. 🥹

This was my 3rd time back in Roatán, and every time I come, I’m reminded just how grateful I am to God for these moments and the opportunity to reconnect with a place that feels like home in a different way. 🌴✨

We made it as far as La Ceiba this trip on our way to Cayos Cochinos, where we snorkeled around Cayo Timón 🐠🌊 — but next time? Mainland Honduras, I’m coming for you! There so much more to explore.

And I still need to make it to Utila and Guanaja… because apparently one lifetime isn’t enough for all the Honduran islands I want to explore. 🇭🇳

Hasta pronto, Honduras. Ya saben mara, ahí siempre les voy a caer por aya 😜😎

This newly built private villa in Turtle Beach is ~5 min from the beach, right between West Bay & West End. You get 2 bedrooms, private pool, pergola, outdoor shower + all the tropical vibes. 😮‍💨🌊

And the location? Perfect. Walk left ~20 min to West Bay (with a little stair bridge adventure) or right ~15–20 min to West End, with a few rocks to climb along the way. 😅 Or make it easy: water taxi is about $10 pp or grab a cab.

Recreating Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl look from this year — and turning it into outfit inspiration for your next special occasion.

The main thing I focused on was the color story: red and baby blue. That’s what really made her look stand out, so I used that as the foundation.

I put together three maxi dress options that give a similar vibe, all styled with slip-on red sandals. Gaga wore square-toe red pumps, but I opted for open-toe slip-on heels for a softer, more wearable feel.

And of course, bold red lipstick was a must.

Next time, I’m definitely adding red nails too because she really committed to every detail.

And if you want to elevate the look even more, you can pin a similar red flower onto your dress—or go for the exact one she wore, which I believe is Puerto Rico’s national flower. She wore it as a nod to Bad Bunny since he’s from Puerto Rico and she performed with him.

It’s dramatic, elegant, and honestly such a fun look to recreate for weddings, galas, or any moment you want to make an entrance.
