Originally designed by Donald Ross in the 1920s, the Country Club of Birmingham’s West Course is one of two Donald Ross designs at the club. The West course was renovated in 2009 by Pete Dye giving it a blend of the old and the new. ✍️ The par 8th tests the eye. Bunkers guard the green and the hole depth makes you think you have less room than you do going long. It’s a fun hole that allows you to make birdie if you can keep it below the hole.
