Portland Oregon is one of my favorite cities on the west coast. Like Seattle, Portland has a uniqueness about it that makes you want to return. Portland’s food scene is solid, it’s access to the outdoors is unparalleled, and it’s near one of the best wine regions in the US. 🇺🇸

Speaking of wine regions, the Willamette Valley is worth a trip in and of itself. You can find some of the best Pinot Noir in this region. We had a blast visiting the wineries in Willamette Valley and can’t wait to return! 🍷

Regatta Bay is one of my favorite courses to play during our Destin vacations. Architect Robert Walker designed this gem of a course in northwest Florida that’s worth checking out. ⛳️

What’s great about courses like Regatta Bay is that you can play the course year round. Winters are generally mild so October to March can be a nice time to play. While the summer months can get hot, this course is still fun to play. ☀️

The Last Madam, The Bomber Mafia, You Never Forget Your First, Sacred Hoops, and A Death in Vienna were the books I enjoyed last month. Of these five books, A Death in Vienna was my favorite. Author Dan Silva knows how to hook you in. 💯

Sacred Hoops was my second favorite book of this group. Author and ex-NBA coach shows how Buddhism helped his NBA teams to multiple titles. 🏀

One of my favorite things to do on our summer vacations in Florida is to play. With a boatload of courses to play, it’s nearly impossible to get board with the variety of golf courses. ⛳️

Kelly Plantation is the top of my list of golf courses to play in the Destin area. The course is in a convenient location, the customer service is top notch, and the course is fun to play. 👌🏻

Berlin is one of the most unique European cities I’ve visited. The city has a very different feel when compared to European cities like London, Paris, Barcelona, and Amsterdam. However, that’s difference is what makes Berlin worth visiting. 🇩🇪

On our last visit, we checked out Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag Building, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, East Side Gallery, Checkppint Charlie, Alexanderplatz, and Gendarmenmarkt. Each of these sites is worth visiting on your next trip to Berlin. 👌🏻

The Birmingham area is underrated when it comes to restaurants. Unless you’ve lived there, it’s likely the city’s food scene is one you’ve overlooked. Birmingham’s golf scene is also underrated. With courses like The Country Club of Birmingham. If you get a chance to play there, do it! 💯

Other courses in the area that are fun to play include Old Overton Club, Vestavia Country Club, and FarmLinks Golf Club. I’ve never played Shoal Creek, but the course is generally considered the best on the state of Alabama. ⛳️

Red Sky Golf Club is one of the most picturesque courses you’ll find in the US. Designed by Greg Norman in 2003, the Red Sky Norman course offers stunning views from nearly every hole. 💯

The first tee overlooks most of the Norman course. Nestled in the Rockies, this is truly a mountain course. What’s great about Red Sky is that have not one but two mountain courses to play. The other course designed by Tom Fazio. All in all, you can’t beat playing the courses during a Colorado golf trip. 🏔
