For the past seven years I have done leg workouts on Saturdays and it’s one habit I stick to! Why? Because I actually like the workouts and I don’t feel like garbage the rest of the day like I would when I used to take our long Boot Camp classes or train for marathons.

As a mom of three young kids, I need energy on the weekends. 30 minute workouts are really all you need to improve your body composition or maintain muscle mass.

If you struggle to stay consistent, perhaps you’re just missing a calendar or workout program you can and want to stick? I never have to guess what out to do because I follow a specific progressive overload program that isn’t a 6 week or 4 week “program” - it keeps going!
